The Trophy Golfer team are avid golfers. Trophy Golfer is based around bettering the game of golf and the golfing experience as a whole. Connecting Golfers with Courses and Golfer with each other creates the best environment to spread a wealth of knowledge about the game.

Our founders also realized that golf communities today lack real interaction and tools to accommodate the "high tech" golfer. Trophy Golfer gives those tools to you.

  Ryan grew up in Southern California where he learned the game of golf from his dad. He went to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo where he received a degree in a subject completely irrelevant to anything he is doing.

  When not fighting a nasty hook off the tee, Ryan enjoys the competition of golf.

  Jason grew up in San Antonio, Texas where his dad taught him the game. He later went to college at Trinity University in San Antonio where he played football. He graduated from Trinity University with a degree in Communications.

  Jason routinely takes Ryan’s money because of his stellar game around the greens.

  Kali Donovan grew up all along the West Coast, but never really came into contact with golf until college. He graduated from Stanford University with a degree in Computer Science and International Relations.

When will the App be live?

Good question. As soon as we can possibly get it completed, tested, and pushed through the appropriate App Store and Android Market. We are hoping for the end of January.

Do you have anywhere I can preview what the app will do?

Yes. Click here You will also be able to take photos from your app and post them to the course page you are at.

What devices will it be on?

Initially the app will be available on the iPhone, iPad, and Android devices. We hope to have it available on other devices as soon as we can.

What will the App cost?

We will offer a free app that will feature mobile advertisements and we will offer an ad-free app that will be $2.99.

Where will the daily deals run?

We are going to initially test them in the Austin and San Antonio areas and then gradually select cities to begin using them based on the volume of users in certain cities.

Does Trophy Golfer track my handicap?

Currently it does not but after we complete the App and Daily Deal features we will begin finishing out the Handicap functionality.

Will it be an official USGA handicap?

Yes. The USGA owns the handicap system and requires websites like TrophyGolfer to abide by specific rules to give out official USGA handicaps. As soon as we can, we will provide this feature for our users.

Will it cost anything to get an official USGA handicap?

Yes. It will cost $19.95/year. It requires some heavy lifting on our end to uphold all of the USGA's guidelines and this is why we will charge for it.

Will TrophyGolfer fix your slice?

No. Stop coming over the top of the ball.
